Description

  • The mat was developed over a period of 4 years by experienced yoga teachers.
  • The most durable natural rubber yoga mat on the market, it is made with a unique closed-cell top surface that prevents moisture from entering the mat, so it stays clean and in good condition longer than other natural rubber mats.
  • Catch-Grip technology provides the perfect balance between grip and pull, allowing you to move easily between positions.
  • It is made from biodegradable natural tree rubber, not grown in the Amazon, with non-toxic foaming agents and non-AZO dyes. A polyester fabric in the middle prevents the mat from stretching.
  • Due to its biodegradable nature, the eKO® range is not recommended for daily intensive exercise.
  • Use of the eKO® range in hot environments requires regular care to maintain the performance of the rubber
  • 99% latex-free. Not recommended for those who are sensitive to latex. It is PVC-free and free of harmful plasticisers.

Care

  • Store the mat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent premature aging and oxidation of the natural rubber. White marks are a sign of oxidation caused by prolonged exposure to oxygen and sunlight. Do not leave the mat in a hot car or near heat sources. To treat oxidation, follow the cleaning instructions below.
  • Because the eKO Lite’s closed-cell surface does not absorb moisture, the mat may feel slightly slippery if you sweat heavily. For better grip, we recommend using a yoga towel.
  • After practice, wipe the mat with a damp cloth, then lay it flat or hang it to air dry before rolling it up. Do not soak or submerge the mat in water, and avoid harsh chemicals, as they can damage the natural rubber.
  • Because the eKO Series is made from natural rubber, it is sensitive to prolonged UV exposure. Leaving the mat in the sun may cause it to fade or become brittle. Do not store the mat while damp, and make sure it is completely dry before rolling it up.
